Curriculum Committee
Welcome to the Curriculum Committee website. The committee's responsibilities are reviewing and approving new and revised course proposals, revised undergraduate check sheets, new and revised options, and new degree programs at both the undergraduate and graduate level. The committee consists of faculty from departments within the college.
To become familiar with the curriculum governance process, please review the University Academic Curriculum Governance site. Prior to submitting your proposal into Courseleaf, using these instructions complete the appropriate form (Course Proposal or Program Proposal) and send it to Jessica Bedore jessicabedore@vt.edu, Committee Chair, and Anna Taylor ataylor@vt.edu, Curriculum Coordinator. The Curriculum Committee will review proposals to help maintain the high standard of work, and ultimate success of CALS proposals as they continue through the governance approval process.
