What is CALSSA?

The purpose of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Staff Association is to serve as a forum for staff to express their views and communicate issues and information between staff, administration, faculty, and students. We also encourage staff participation in college activities, policies, shared governance, as well as community outreach programs and events.

How do I become a member?

All CALS staff members are strongly encouraged to participate in CALSSA with at least one representative per department. Membership is open to all full-time, part-time, or wage employees in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. For more information on joining, please contact a CALSSA Officer or Representative.

When are meetings held?

CALSSA meets the last Tuesday of every month in the Dean's Conference Room, 104 Hutcheson Hall (unless otherwise posted) from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Zoom is also available for those who cannot attend in-person. All college staff members are invited to attend! Contact your department representative for more information.
