Kenya Blockchain in Agriculture Working Group

The Kenya BIA Working Group was convened to collaboratively identify the appropriate use cases of blockchain and complementary technologies to accelerate the achievement of critical milestones of the Kenya Agriculture Sector Transformation and Growth Strategy (ASTGS). 

This working group will collaboratively design integrated frameworks for research, implementation, and policy reform to deploy blockchain and complementary technologies at scale for select value chains and to assess its impacts on transforming smallholder livelihoods. The working group will also collaboratively develop a resource mobilization strategy (e.g., in-kind contributions, proposals) to support ASNET and the Government of Kenya in deploying these frameworks.
