Zach Jacobs

Zach is a Legislative Specialist for Virginia Farm Bureau's Governmental Relations team. Prior to this role, he worked as a Senior Legislative Assistant for two members of congress. Before his time on capitol hill, Zach worked as a Legislative Analyst in the Office of Congressional Relations at the United States Department of Agriculture for Secretary Sonny Perdue.

As a student, Zach held several leadership positions in agricultural and political science student organizations. He also served as a Campus Ambassador and National Student Advisory Team Member for the Agriculture Future of America organization and served as Virginia Tech’s first American Royal Scholar.  Since graduating from Virginia Tech, Zach has also earned his master’s degree in Strategic Communication through Liberty University.
