    Virginia Cooperative Extension Hosts Fulbright Faculty from Bangladesh and Kenya , article

    Virginia Cooperative Extension (VCE) has recently hosted two Fulbright faculty. Fulbright Fellow, Mohammad Golam Farouque, was a guest of Virginia Tech’s College of Agriculture (CALS), VCE, CALS Global, and the Agricultural, Leadership, and Community Education (ALCE) Department on July 27. VCE is also partnering with the Virginia Tech Department of Entomology, Department of Population Health Sciences, and Hollins University to host Fulbright Scholar in Residence Dr. Isabell Kingori.

The theme of the third offering of GOI was “strengthening food systems for food security, health, and community vitality “.

    The Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM) has planned the Africa Higher Education Week 2021 and Conference from December 6th to 10th, 2021 in Benin. The blended program brings together various stakeholders in the global agricultural higher education space, aligning with Virginia Tech’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences’ globalization initiatives.
