Current Employee of the Month Award Winner

Rebecca is the AFA in the office that clusters with my office for Junior 4-H camp. This year their office did not have a 4-H agent, and I am a new agent. Rebecca went above and beyond the call of duty for her position. She helped me and the Appomattox office with every detail of 4-H camp. She helped with teen recruitment, interviews, training, supply purchasing, set up, classes, contacting and recruiting adult leaders, teen reward trip, and much more; none of which is in her job description. Rebecca went out of her way to make contacts and find out information that we needed as we prepared for camp. She took the initiative far beyond her duties and I couldn't be more thankful to have worked alongside her. Rebecca showed up for her office, our office and her community in a time of need, all while maintaining her actual job duties. She kept a positive attitude through the entire process, when I know her workload had more than doubled at times. She was still a pleasure to work with through it all and continued to offer to take things off of my plate while hers was full.
