Alumni & Constituent Relations

With over 16 years of experience in engagement programming and university advancement, Robyn has been part of the Virginia Tech community since 2014. She joined CALS in November 2023 after serving as director of alumni relations for the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences. Previously, she held roles as the assistant director of alumni relations for the College of Engineering and as a special events coordinator for University Advancement.

At CALS, Robyn leads programming, events, and outreach efforts to foster strong relationships between the college and its stakeholders. She also manages the Dean’s Advisory Council, coordinates Giving Day initiatives, and oversees the monthly “CALS Connections” email newsletter.

Robyn holds a bachelor’s degree in communications media and a master’s degree in student affairs — both from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She lives in McCoy, just across from the Kentland Farm cattle fields, with her husband and two children.

“I have a passion for serving students and our communities through our land-grant mission, so following my career path to CALS truly feels like I’m at home,” Robyn said. “I look forward to growing our engagement programming and building deeper connections with alumni and stakeholders. Our dean, Mario Ferruzzi, has brought a new energy and perspective to the work we all do across CALS and VCE, and I'm excited to strengthen our network in support of that mission.”
