Anton Baudoin grew up in the Netherlands, went to school there and attended the Agricultural University in Wageningen where I majored in Crop Protection/Pest Management. He earned his Ph.D. at the University of California in Riverside, and has been at Virginia Tech since 1981 with a majority teaching appointment. He has also served as the coordinator for the Plant and Pest Management. Although now retired from teaching, he is continuing participation in research.

Alejandro Del-Pozo is an applied insect ecologist at Virginia Tech. Alejandro's home Department is Entomology, and he is also affiliated with the Center of Advance Innovation in Agriculture (CAIA). He is located at the Hampton Roads Research Station in Virginia Beach. Alejandro is also an extension specialist, serving the ornamental and turfgrass industries. Alejandro’s research focused on providing applied and science-based solutions to implement an IPM program.

I conduct research on weed control in horticultural crops, especially nursery crops and turfgrass. I also conduct research on invasive weed species in noncrop areas. I have served as an advisor in the OMALS program.

John Fike is a professor in Virginia Tech's School of Plant and Environmental Sciences and Virginia's state forage extension specialist. John grew up on a small, successful family dairy in Franklin County, VA. After completing a BS in science education (Wake Forest University) and a period of global travel (including work on grazing dairies in New Zealand), John pursued an MS in forage agronomy (Virginia Tech) and a PHD in dairy science (U Florida).

My industry experiences have spanned retail garden center, annual and herbaceous perennial greenhouse, woody plant nursery, ornamental plant breeding, and vegetable grafting. I have expertise in many aspects of plant production, plant breeding, plant propagation, and greenhouse construction and maintenance. I am the inventor and/or co-inventor on 35 plant patents. I teach HORT 4324, serve as a reviewer of applications for the Plant Science and Pest Management concentration, and can serve as a committee member.
