Jennifer assists with fiscal management of the Alliance, managing contracts, payments, and fiscal reporting for the project. Most recently, Jennifer worked at the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office as an Assistant Office Coordinator where she managed the office’s finances and the State funds received. Prior to that, she worked as an Administrative Bookkeeper for a Career and Technical High School that had a focus on Agricultural Programs. There she managed Federal and State Grants for all CTE Programs.
Jennifer has received her associate degree in Health Sciences from Patrick and Henry Community College. She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s in business management from Old Dominion University through their online program. In her free time, Jennifer loves reading and spending time with her husband, Hunter and their son, Cooper.
The Alliance to Advance Climate-Smart Agriculture is a three-year, $80-million pilot supported by USDA's Partnerships for Climate-Smart Commodities program. Led by the Virginia Tech College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, the Alliance will distribute more than $57 million of the largest grant in the university’s history to producers to enact climate-friendly practices and serve as a pilot program for a national model.
