Meet the 2021 CALS Global Faculty Scholars
Dr. Tom Archibald is an Associate Professor in Agricultural, Leadership, and Community Education. In his project, “Evaluation Capacity Development to Support Social Entrepreneurship in West African Agriculture”, Dr. Archibald will explore the intersections of evaluation capacity development (ECD), community-engaged higher education, and youth social entrepreneurship in agriculture in Francophone West Africa.
Dr. Catherine Larochelle is an Assistant Professor in Agricultural and Applied Economics. In her project, Dr. Larochelle will lead the analysis of data sets, collected by CALS students, related to adoption of conservation agriculture practices by farmers in the Ecuadorian highlands. She also envisions sharing online teaching and learning strategies for internships in a teaching-focused journal.
