Dorsey Massey, LMSW, brings experience in

Prior to joining the CALS Office of Research and Innovation, Dorsey served as the Program Manager for the Office of Strategic Engagement and Opportunity in CALS. In that role, she provided leadership for NIH-funded PREP, IMSD, and ESTEEMED programs and managed the George Washington Carver Assistantship program. Prior to joining Virginia Tech in 2023, Dorsey directed disability initiatives and family support services at the Jewish Community Center and the International Institute for the Brain (iBRAIN) in Manhattan. She holds a Master of Social Work from Columbia University and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Higher Education at Virginia Tech.
