Dorsey Massey

Dorsey Massey, LMSW, has transitioned to the role of Program Manager for CALS ORI. Dorsey brings experience in research program management, strategic engagement, and advancing access in higher education, most recently serving as the Program Manager for Strategic Engagement and Opportunity in CALS. In that role, she provided leadership for NIH-funded PREP, IMSD, and ESTEEMED programs, and managed the George Washington Carver Assistantship program. Prior to joining Virginia Tech in 2023, Dorsey directed disability initiatives and family support services at the Jewish Community Center and the Institute for the Brain in Manhattan. She holds a Master of Social Work from Columbia University and is currently pursuing her PhD in Higher Education at Virginia Tech.
