bridge

Dear Hokie Families,

Happy New Year from all of us in the CALS Academic Programs Office! As we welcome 2025, we are filled with excitement and anticipation for the opportunities and experiences that lie ahead for your students during the Spring Semester.

The beginning of a new year is a time for reflection and renewal. It is a moment to celebrate the achievements of the past year and set goals for the future. Your students have shown remarkable resilience, adaptability, and growth, embodying the Hokie spirit of Ut Prosim (That I May Serve) in their academic pursuits and beyond. We are immensely proud of all they have accomplished and look forward to supporting them as they continue their journey.

Spring is a season of growth, and the semester ahead promises to be filled with meaningful learning, innovative projects, and opportunities for community engagement. Whether it’s through hands-on experiences in our state-of-the-art facilities, participation in student organizations, or making connections with our dedicated faculty and staff, your students are part of a vibrant community committed to excellence and impact.

We also encourage families to remain active partners in their students' success. Your encouragement and guidance play a crucial role in their academic and personal development. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions or if there are ways we can better support you and your student.

As we embark on this new year together, we are grateful for the opportunity to work with such talented and driven students. Thank you for entrusting us with their education and for being a vital part of the Hokie nation. Here’s to a fantastic 2025 filled with discovery, growth, and success!

Warm regards,
CALS Academic Programs Office
