Special Note from Dr. Sumner, CALS Associate Dean of Academic Programs

Susan Sumner

The last day of the spring semester is May 7, which means final exams start on May 9.  This can be a stressful time,  so I encourage you to support your student with words of encouragement and get ready for summer break.  Many students will be starting summer jobs, internships and taking classes.  Be sure your student takes some time to relax.  Our alums always tell us what they miss most when they start their first job, I miss my long summer breaks. The college commencement ceremony is Thursday, May 15.   This is an exciting time to be on campus.  We look forward to seeing the graduating students and their families on campus for commencement.
