William comes to VT by way of North Carolina and is a former Middle and High School Educator where he coached track and field. William enjoys engaging with young people and exposing them to different opportunities and careers in agriculture and life sciences. Prior to becoming an educator, William worked in preclinical research and agriculture. 

William has earned a BS in Lab Animal Science as well as an MS in Agriculture Education from North Carolina Agricultural &Technical State University. He is engaged in a PhD program for Agriculture Leadership & Community Education within the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
